Introduction of Etova-MR Tablet

Etova-MR Forte Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Etova-MR Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etova-MR Forte Tablet1 and Etova-MR Forte Tablet2, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles.

Etova-MR Forte Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Can the use of Etova-MR Forte Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Yes, the long-term use of Etova-MR Forte Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
