if u r deficient in it, only then as per doctor's advice or else u l have side effects

There was sudden swelling redness & pain in right wrist 2 month before. diagnosed arthritis however what kind of arthritis is not defined. Some suspect gouty & other suspect autoimmune. I was give 4 shots of Depo medrol 40 mg on weekly basis. Though pain reduced however not fully. I am unable to reach the doctor, so wanted to check, can I take Prednisone 20 mg orally for 5 days? I am taking DMARD (Folitrax, HCQS, Sazo), Selcal-CT, Folic acid, Febutaz, Naprosyn as well. Will any of these drug react with Predinisone? Thanks Additionally, the swelling & pain spead to right elbow, left wrist, left knee, right ankle & right hip joint. All other joints are ok now, except right wrist from where it started & left knee. Along with depo medrol I was given zycholcin & allopurinol as well.
