Mecocad Capsule

Mecocad capsule contains folic acid and methylcobalamin as active ingredients. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of anemia, anemia due to folic acid deficiency, folate deficiency caused by long-term red blood cell damage or kidney dialysis along with several other problems. It improves the patient’s condition by producing and maturing the red blood cells, working in recovery process of damaged nerve cells.
Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in the cells of diabetic patient. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in people with neuropathies. Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.
Mecocad capsule is used in the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Anemia
Anemia due to folic acid deficiency
Folate deficiency caused by long-term red blood cell damage or kidney dialysis
Increased requirement of folate in the body in pregnancy
Nerve damage with numbness, tingling, pain in neurological disorders
Use under medical supervision.
