3M Steri-Strip Reinforced Adhesive Skin Closures R1540 is the original skin closure strip, made of microporous non-woven material, specially designed to let the skin breathe and comes with reinforced filaments for added strength. It is a pressure-sensitive, hypoallergenic adhesive.

It is used in closures of laceration, surgical incisions and early suture/staple removal.
