If you are taking birth control pills, dose of Abolin 100mg Syrup need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of Abolin 100mg Syrup, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.

One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with Abolin 100mg Syrup. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.

Abolin 100mg Syrup should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, Abolin 100mg Syrup, or theophylline. Along with that, patients suffering from low blood pressure, irregular heart beats or rhythm or history of heart attack, liver disease or kidney disorder should avoid taking Abolin 100mg Syrup.
