Expert advice for Eflornithine
- Eflornithine should be applied twice a day over the affected area.
- Before each application, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well.
- Maintain a gap of at least 8 hours between each application and avoid face washing for a period of 4 hours after application.
- Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
- Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 4 months of treatment.
- Do not stop using the medicine without talking to your doctor as it can resume hair growth.
